US Federal Government Agency Employees Travel Records
Many of you already know that for the past two and a half months I have been working tirelessly, though part-time on a very exciting project - a site that promises to expose US Government travel excesses, JunketSleuth.Com.
Well, I am happy to announce that today the site (technically, the work of my two tiny hands, in conjunction with my enormous brain) has finally launched. For now, site visitors will only be able to access the Department of Health and Human Services employee travel database records. Other US Federal Government agency travel records will be added as we receive and process data from additional agencies.
JunketSleuth.Com is operated by a non-profit BailoutSleuth.Com, staffed with top-notch journalists like Russell Carollo and Gary Cohn - both Pulitzer Prize winners, and funded by Mark Cuban, the sports, entertainment and technology entrepreneur whose holdings include the Dallas Mavericks, HDNet and Landmark Theatres. The data used in the project is being obtained courtesy of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
